welcome to the land of nourishment…

The traditional lands of the Maleku people in the Northern region of Costa Rica teems with wild vegetation and a non-stop symphony of jungle songs. From the trails of leaf cutter ants crisscrossing the forest floor to the barreling sounds of howler monkeys, the nature of Costa Rica is a constant teacher and mentor. True to animist values, all of life from the smallest river stone to the omnipresent Volcano Arenal holds a wisdom, perspective, and presence that can support our spiritual evolution if we take pause to expand into these connections.

Aligning with the Equinox corridor, this Immersion retreat will nourish personal growth through attunement with nature and her allies; plant and animal life, the elements, and landscape are the relationships that will nurture us.

During this 5 night / 4 day immersion you will have the opportunity to consciously connect to yourself supported by the lifeforce of the land of Costa Rica. We will be warmly welcomed by the wonderful staff at Brave Earth, a “living lab” whose prayer (rather than mission statement) is: “to create an imprint of lived possibility in solidarity with all Life, in dialogue with the living planet, and in service to the collective transition.” The ethics of Brave Earth including regeneration, resiliency, and reciprocity mirrors the underlying theme of this immersion and is the perfect environment for the Equinox Pause.

ARRIVAL: WEDNESDAY MARCH 25, 2026

DEPARTURE: MONDAY MARCH 30, 2026

We will be staying 2.5 north of San Jose, CR at the Brave Earth Center. Walking trails, accommodations, swimming pond, gathering space, and a dining area are beautifully curated with eco-built outdoor showers and composting toilets. The group size will range from 7-15 women and optional daily activities and outings.

The intent for the immersion is to be in alignment with nature including elemental wisdom to support an Equinox pause, re-calibration, and sustenance for continued personal growth within a ritual and community framework.

our rhythm…

Our days will be leisurely as we adjust our internal clocks to ‘mañana’ time meaning what can be done today, can also be done tomorrow. Meal times will be rhythmic with opportunities for sharing circles, ritual, yoga, sweat lodge, hot springs, and more between nourishment. Aligned with the power of choice, you can choose to participate or opt out as needed with no judgment of what your soul desires during this immersion.

SHARED: In shared accommodations, whether this is a bed or a hut, cost is Per Person and please CONTACT ME to indicate the name of your room/bed mate so you can be placed together when both reservations are made.

PRIVATE: Accommodation is private and no one will have access to your sleeping space.

BATHROOMS & SHOWERS: All bathrooms and showers are a short walk from accommodations with the exception of the Garden Cabinas which have en suite showers/ bathroom.

To stay in a Gaia Dome is to rest in a sphere. Nestled in tropical foliage where butterflies and hummingbirds delight. Illuminated by moonbeams and first morn’s light, the Gaia Domes are cozy, cocoon-like, dwellings.

Take in the sights and sounds of the rainforest in our Jungle Huts. Elegant, clean lines, high ceilings and artful, handcrafted touches gives these spaces a luxurious feel while immersed in Nature. Get cozy in the hammock with a book on the outside deck or take in the jungle sounds from the comfort of your bed.

EARTH TAMBOO

Earth Tambos are adobe structures made from red clay and bamboo from the land. The Earth walls and floors give the space a very grounding feeling and inspire a deep stillness. Intentionally designed using organic forms, materials, and textures to inspire the senses and connect to Nature.

FAMILY JUNGLE HUT

These raised Jungle Huts are cozy spaces perfect for families or friends who are traveling together. The two rooms are connected by a shared lounge space over looking the jungle and pond. Inside each Jungle Hut you’ll find a handcrafted double size bed to lay your head after all your jungle adventures.

Garden Cabina

These bright and cheerful spaces are located close to our gardens. Watch the butterflies and hummingbirds from the front porch. Let your thoughts and creativity pour through at the writing desk overlooking the jungle. These spaces have a rustic charm and offer an ensuite bathroom, shower and air conditioning.
