Dear Ritualists,
Due to the time constraints and demands that creating online content is requiring, I am going to pause Ritual Explorers and Adventures for the immediate future. Your membership will change to the Seekers so you will receive content every month, just not the extras that come with these particular circles. You will not be charged beyond February 2025, however, if you feel called to make a monthly donation for Seekers that is certainly welcome!
Thank You for supporting this ritual space and I certainly hope it has been fruitful for you. The Seekers version is also a wonderful space that will prompt you into intentions, reflections, and continued transformation.

Welcome February!
I am full of excitement about the animal archetypal energy of the Chinese Lunar New Year!
The Chinese cosmology brings us to the Year of the Snake which is more than full of symbolism, wisdom, and healing energy. January 29th marked the changing of this cycle and we are so fortunate to be in the presence of this incredibly wise energy.
We are blessed to have snake energy in our home. My sons both have snakes, one Corn and the other a Ball Python. We watch in amazement as they cycle with the moon bi or tri monthly by shedding their skin. What is especially fascinating is how their normally shiny skin dulls out, they become lethargic and even irritable, and they are overtaken by a grey hue. Their eyes become cloudy and their vision, which is already questionable, worsens.
They prepare for change this way because they have grown out of what has become restrictive, outdated, and old. They are continuously regenerating and it is natural to release the skin that can no longer hold who they have transformed into.
As we move through this year, I invite you to continuously circle back to the teaching of the snake. She is a wise and generous being. She is so powerful that she has evoked fear and myth, reverence and disdain. Enjoy your journey with her !

questions for reflection
Take a moment to reflect back over the course of your life. What were some of the big “sheds” that you went through? Consider such transitions as childhood to teen years, teen to young adulthood, becoming a parent, retirement, elderhood, etc. Who were you before your shed and what qualities became central to your character after?
Do you consider your adaptability. Can you be flexible when you need to be or do you get stuck? Are you overly flexible to the point where you do not advocate for yourself or you loose yourself. What does adaptability look like for you in its most idea form?
How do you “shapeshift” in your life? This means all the ways you are able to transition into different social situations, adapt to varying environments, represent yourself differently given the circumstances, and be able to change perspectives. What does shapeshifting mean to you and what does it look like in your life?
